 AMAN - an Irish registered trust partnering with local village community associations in the Moroccan High Atlas mountains in
promoting, supporting and assisting these Berber communities with their health, educational and self-sustainability needs.

Running a mountaineering and trekking business brought us into initial contact with isolated Berber villages in the Western High Atlas. Over a period of years, relationships with these villages developed to the extent that we wished to reach out to them and help address some of their needs.

With the establishment of the AMAN Trust, this has now become a reality. Many hurdles remain (language acquisition being one of the main ones) but it is our hope that this developing work will become self-sustaining, far-reaching and will bring New Life to all these villages.
